Drought in Phuket can be Fixed by Heavy Rain

Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation through meetings held last month to check the readiness of the possibility of flooding and landslides in phuket.

Based on research undertaken by Kasetsart University, the three regions in phuket as Muang, Kathu and Thalang have a very big risk to floods and landslides. Thus a natural disaster evacuation training held organized by the Center for Public Health, Phuket and Thailand DDPM Fire & Rescue Training Academy in the meeting room Patong Municipality.

Phuket Andaman Halal 2010

Phuket Andaman Halal 2010 will feature food and cultural traditions of Islam and will be held at Saphan Hin starting from this June 18-20. The event was organized by the Phuket Provincial Administration Organization along with the Islamic Committee Office Phuket, Halal Science Center at Chulalongkorn University, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

Events which have cost 5 million baht this is an event held for the second time and will be led by the Islamic Sheikhul Phitakkhumphol Aziz, advisor to HM the King in Islamic affairs. In this event will be a lot to do activities and stage shows including Royhan Band a very well-known Malaysian band and Muslim in southern Thailand.

The event was jointly formed equally by approximately 70 kosher food stores and will feature exhibitions of local Muslim culture and their lifestyle. Submitted by Bali villa.
