Insulting Thai King Will Be Prosecuted

Thai government recently formed vowed to crack down for anyone who insults the Kingdom of Thailand, along with the increasing contempt for the King of Thailand in cyberspace. Thai Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung said, an insult to members of Thailand kingdom is unacceptable.

“The first thing we must manage the websites that insult the kingdom, I will prepare a strategy to deal with it, starting from now,” said Yubamrung,

Affront to royal family in Thailand, including the King, Queen or his descendants will be subject to a prison sentence of 15 years. In May,  one United States (U.S.) citizens in Thailand had been arrested  because translate biodata the King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej and release articles about the king on internet.

Ko Phi Phi is Still a Mainstay of Tourism in Thailand

Phi Phi is a small group islands on west coast of southern Thailand. These attractions are able to capture millions of foreign tourists to holiday each year. Consists of six small islands, two main islands here are Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. The islands are very attracted tourists for its beautiful scenery, a mixture of clear blue sea with islands of green.

Phi Phi and other islands in this  region hit by the tsunami devastated the Indian Ocean in 2004. For several years after the disaster, tourism sector which is the mainstay of this area were destroyed. Hundreds of Phi Phi people including foreign tourists dead and missing. But now, no longer visible trace of malignancy tsunami. Return of foreign tourists visit this place and Phi Phi became the mainstay of State White Elephant tourism.
