The two dead were members of the Muslim Witthaya School staff in Koh Kaew.
Police identified the deceased as 54 Phang Nga resident San Thasai, driver of a school pick-up truck carrying young students at their home in Baan Bang Khli in the District of Muang Tai Phang Nga?s.
Also killed was Oranong Junthanit, who was sitting in the back row of the van.
A member of the Directorate of finance school?s, Ms. Oranong served also as chaperone to young students on their way to school.
At around 6: 30 p.m., the van headed south Thepkrasattri road as usual when he was involved in a collision with a truck loaded collection of watermelons, durian and other fruits.
